Kids open our hearts and our minds to a world worth re-discovering over and over again.

The Stories We Tell
We initially conceptualized Quotable Kidz as a fun and creative memory gathering tool. But as we continued to collect memories and quotables, we soon recognized that this platform actually serves as a psychological tool too, one that can help parents understand their children more deeply. Quotable Kidz is a space where parents' compassion, their words of wisdom, and their loving vision for their children can also find a forever home.
The stories we tell our children about their childhood have the unique power to shape the grown-ups they become. When we recognize our children’s unique essence -- their innate talents, their inherent qualities, their gifts and their challenges -- and we tell them loving stories about these attributes, we instill in them a sense of self-respect, confidence, and positive anticipation.
When the Care-Free Days of Early Childhood Wane
When children mature -- especially as they approach the middle school years -- a feeling of self-consciousness may emerge and dampen their inborn exuberance and wide-eyed wonder and zest for life. This seeming loss of that spark can be hard on our young ones, and disheartening for parents as well, as we are left puzzling over what happened to our happy-go-lucky little ones.
Thankfully our own reflection and storytelling can be powerful at this time. When we tell our children stories about their earlier days that bring to light and honor their creativity and their passion and initiative, when we remind them of how they have overcome challenges before, and we put them in touch with what they love and what they get excited about vs. what scares them, we help them to reconnect with those early traits and pursuits that, as parents, we know carry a certain promise and possibility.
Our Wish for You and Your Children
Quotable Kidz takes our ease and joy in memory-making and memory sharing one step deeper by making our children, as they grow up, the eventual and ultimate audience for the memories, the quotes, the milestones and achievements we post about them. In keeping our children and their blossoming future in mind as we talk about them, we infuse our words with a love and vision that can nurture, support, and guide them for an entire lifetime.
Who We Are
We are a Los Angeles-based couple whose average, earthly world turned celestial when our daughter was born. From the moment she emerged, she filled us with utter delight and wonder. Her coos, moves, stories, hops, skips, wiggles, giggles, candor, insight and beauty captivated us, moved us, and sent us scrambling for a way to capture it all, to remember all of her, and to make sure we wouldn’t forget. We tried writing her words and our reflections in a journal, attempted scrapbooks and memory albums, but too many of her quotables disappeared into the ether before we could catch them. We imagined a better way, a simple, interactive system that would help us to record her significant moments, and that would remain a keepsake for her to someday see what all the fuss is about, to know how magnificent she truly is.
We get it. Our time with our kids is precious and fleeting. And so our passion prevails: to provide a platform that enables others to effortlessly capture, share, catalog and store their most cherished memories.
